Tuna cutlet
Tuna Fish(canned) or any other flesh of the fish - 200 gm
(If using normal fish, then boil it by adding little salt, till they are cooked)
Onion(chopped) - 3 nos
Green chillies(chopped) - 4 nos
Garlic pods - 5 nos
(finely chopped)
Ginger(medium size) - 1 no
(finely chopped)
Potatoes - 3 nos
(boiled & mashed)
Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves - As reqd
Garam masala - 2 tsp
Oil - 4 tbsp
Bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
Eggs - 3 nos
Oil for deep frying - 2 cups
How to prepare
1)Heat oil in a pan.
2)Add onion, ginger, garlic & green chillies till their fresh smell goes or till they are little cooked. Stir it continously.
3)Add fish to it & mix well.Dont add water to it.We have to make this mixture dry.As the fish is cooked,we just have to cook it till all the water is evaporated.
4)Add mashed potates & mix well.
5)Add pepper powder & garam masala. Mix well.
6)Switch off the flame & add coriander leaves,add salt as required.
7)Allow it to cool.
8)Make small flat round shape balls.
9)Beat the eggs in a bowl and take bread crumbs in another plate.
10)Dip the balls in the egg mixture & then roll them on the bread crumbs.
11)Deep fry the cutlets in oil.
Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
