Traditional Pumpkin Pie
Pumpkin pie is a traditional North American sweet dessert usually made in the late autumn and early winter.The pumpkin is a symbol of harvest time.
Ingredients
1)Sweetened Condensed Milk-1 can
2)Solid-pack Pumpkin-1 can
3)Ground Cinnamon-1/2 tsp
4)Ground Ginger–1/2 tsp
5)Ground Nutmeg-1/2 tsp
6)Unbaked Pastry shell-1
7)Egg-2 no
8)Salt-1/2 tsp
How to Prepare
1)Preheat the oven to 425 degree F,Place the rack in lowest position
in oven.
2)In a mixer bowl mix Pumpkin,condensed milk,egg,cinnamon,ginger,nutmeg
and salt,mix well.
3)Pour this mixture into the pastry shell.
4)Bake for about 15 minutes.
5)Reduce the oven temperature to 350 degree F.
6)Bake for another 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Pumpkin pie can be served with whipped cream.
