Tandoori Chicken

Tandoori Chicken is a chicken dish that originated in Punjab region of Indian
subcontinent. The chicken is marinated in yogurt, and seasoned with tandoori masala.
 
Ingredients

1)Chicken legs-6 pieces
2)Yogurt-1 cup
3)Garam Masala-1 tsp
4)Red chili Powder-1 tsp
5)Minced ginger-1 tsp
6)Minced Garlic-1 tsp
7)Ground Coriander-1 tsp
8)Ground cumin-1 tsp
9)Ceyenne -1/2 tsp
10)Salt to taste
11)Pepper powder-1/2 tsp
12)Lemon juice
13)Oil for marinating
14)Chaat masala-1/2 tsp
15)Food colour

How to Prepare

1)Make small cuts in the chicken legs and rub it with some salt,red chili powder and lemon juice, keep it aside.
2)Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix it well and marinate the chicken
   in this mixture,add oil and food colour  as required.Marinate it for 4-5 hours.
3)If you want to make authentic tandoori chicken,you need to have tandoor,
   the clay oven, but we can use modern oven to prepare this delicious dish.
4)Preheat the oven to 400 degree F, cook it for 25-30 minutes.
5)Remove it from oven, and set it aside.
6)When it is time to serve, heat it by placing it on a small grill just to heat it
   and garnish it with chopped onion and chat masala.

Tandoori chicken is ready to be served.
