Gulab Jamun

Gulab jamun is a popular Indian Dessert.

Ingredients

1)All purpose Flour-1/4 cup
2)Milk Powder-1 cup
3)Cardamom Powder-3/4 tsp
4)Butter-3 tsp
5)Baking Soda-1/4 tsp
6)Water-1 cup
7)Milk-1/4 cup
8)Sugar- 1  1/4 cup
9)Oil for deep frying

How to Prepare Sugar syrup

1)Mix water and sugar in a pan and boil till the sugar is dissolved
  add cardomom powder to it and keep it aside.

How to Prepare Gulab Jamun.

1)Mix the Milk powder,All purpose flour(Maida)and baking soda add
  butter to it and mix it well.Add milk to it to make a dough that
  is soft.
2)Divide the dough into 10-15 balls and roll between palms till it is
  smooth.
3)Heat oil in a pan,Put the balls into the oil,reduce the heat to medium, fry till it is golden brown in colour.
4)Remove it from the pan and put it in the warm sugar syrup.
5)Soak it in sugar syrup for an hour or two.

Gulab Jamun is ready to be served.
