Green Chilli Pickle - Jalapeno Pickle

This is hot and spicy  pickle which can be served with Rice and common among south indians.

Ingredients

1)Pacha Mulaku/Jalapeno pepper-400 gm
2)Ginger-a small piece.
3)Mustard Seeds-50 gm
4)Turmeric Powder-3 tsp
5)Vinegar-1 cup
6)Tamarind Water-1/4 cup
7)Garlic-1 cup
8)Sugar-1 cup 
9)Oil-1 cup
10)Curry leaves

How to prepare

1)Mix green chilli/Jalapeno pepper with salt and marinate for
  an hour or two.
2)Grind Ginger,Mustard seeds,garlic,vinegar(2 tsp)
  to a paste.
3)Heat oil in a pan,add curryleaves and ground masala
  and saute it well.
4)Add Green Chilli to it and saute it,add tamarind water
  to it and when it boils add sugar and vinegar to it and
  reduce the flame,cook it for 12 minutes.
5)When it is in the form of a semi gravy ,turn off the gas.

Jalapeno pepper/green chilli Pickle is ready to be served with
rice.
