Egg Curry

Egg Curry can be served with Rice,Chappathi,Roti or Naan.

Ingredients

1)Egg-4
2)Red Onion-2
3)Tomato-2
4)Vegetable Oil-4 tsp
5)Black Pepper Powder -a pinch
6)Mustard Seeds-1 tsp
7)Red chillies -2
8)Salt as required
9)Garam Masala or Egg Masala Powder
10)Coriander leaves to garnish.
11)Green Chili-1
12)Turmeric powder - a pinch
13)Cumin Seeds- a pinch
14)Ginger Garlic Paste
15)Red Chili powder -2 tsp

How to Prepare

1)Boil eggs in a vessel.
2)Heat oil in a pan add sliced onion and tomatoes,saute well.
3)Keep it aside for some time.
4)Grind it to a semi thick paste.
5)Heat oil in a pan,add mustard seeds,red chillies and when it
starts popping add the semi thick paste to it.
6)Add Pepper powder,Egg/Garam masala,turmeric powder,Red Chili
powder,cumin seeds,ginger garlic paste,Green Chili and water
to it and boil it for some time.
7)Remove the shell of boiled egg and cut it into two pieces.
8)Heat ghee/oil in a pan,roast egg piece(both sides) till it
turns light brown in color.
9)Mix the Egg pieces with Curry(Gravy)
10)Pour 1 tsp of lemon juice.
11)Garnish it with Coriander leaves.

Egg Curry is ready to be served.

    Hi,

    I tried the egg curry and it came out to be very good! I have prepared egg curry before also but the differnce was I have never tried to grind the onion and tomatoes..This gives a better taste to the dish…Thanks for your recipe..
