Custard Cream Puffs

A quick and easy Custard Cream Puffs recipe.This is a delicious dessert.

Ingredients

1)Cold milk-1 cup
2)Whipped cream-1 cup
3)Almond extract–1/2 tsp
4)All purpose flour-3/4 cup
5)Butter-1/3 cup
6)Water-3/4 cup
7)Powdered sugar
8)Salt-1/4 tsp
9)Eggs-3
10)Instant vanilla pudding and pie filling mix-1 pack
11)Mandarin orange segments, drained-1 can

How to prepare

ForĀ  the filling

1)Beat pudding mix and milk in a mixer for 2 minutes or until thickened, add the almond extract.
2)Add the wipped cream,cover it and refrigerate it.

For Cream Puffs

1)Preheat the oven to 400 degree F,grease the baking sheet
2)Bring water and butter to boil in a pan over high heat,stir continuously until butter melts,add salt and flour stir it well.
3)Stir it continuously till the mixture forms a ball.
4)Remove it from fire and allow it to cool for 10-12 minutes,
5)Add eggs to it ,one at a time,beat it until the mixture is smooth.
6)Drop the batterĀ  into 6 mounds,3 inches apart, on preheated oven
7)Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
8)Allow it to cool and cut off tops and remove soft dough from insides.
9)Spoon filling into bottom of cream puffs. Place oranges on the top of the filling,the cover it with tops.
10)Dust cream puffs with powderd sugar.

Custard Cream Puff are ready to be served.
