Coconut Chutney

Coconut Chutney is a popular condiment which can be served with Dosa,Idli or Vada.

Ingredients

1)Grated Coconut-1 cup
2)Black gram split (white urad dal)-4 tsp
3)Salt to taste
4)Mustard Seeds-1 tsp
5)Red chillies -2
6)Green Chili-1
7)Oil -4 tsp
8)Curry leaves
9)Ginger -A small piece.
10)Ghee-1 tsp.

How to Prepare

1)Heat ghee in a pan, add black gram dal to it and roast it.
2)Grind grated coconut with roasted dal,green chillies and  salt,grind it to a thick paste.
3)Heat the Oil in a pan,add mustard seeds and red chilly to it  and when it starts popping, add the grinded paste to it and  boil it for few seconds.
4)Garnish it with curry leaves.

Coconut chutney is ready to be served.
