Chocolate Cherry FruitCake
Cherry Fruit cake is really full of chocolate flavor,loaded with cherries.it’s really awesome.
Ingredients
1)Dried Cherries-1 1/4 cup
2)Chocolate Chips-1 cup
3)Cocoa Powder-1/2 cup
4)Baking soda-1/2
5)Salt-1/2
6)Butter milk-2/3 cup
7)Sugar-2 cup
8)Eggs-2 no
9)Rum-6 tsp
10)Walnuts or Pecans, toasted-1 cup
11)Flour-1 1/4
12)Baking powder-1/ tsp
13)Unsalted Butter-1/4 cup
How to Prepare the Cake
1)Soak the Cherries in rum,set aside for atleast 2 hours.
2)Preheat the oven to 350 degree after adjusting the oven
rack to the center of the oven,grease and flour bottom
and sides of 10 inch tube pan.
3)Mix butter and sugar in an electric mixer until fluffy.
Add eggs to this one at a time and mix it slowly.
4)In a separat bowl mix flour,cocoa powder,salt,baking
soda and baking powder.
5)Add Half dry ingredients to the creamed butter mixture,add
butter milk and mix the remaining dry ingredients.
6)Add nuts and chocolate chips
7)Pour the batter into the cake pan and bake for 40 minutes
or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8)Remove it from oven,drizzle the rum over the cake and allow it
to cool.
Cherry Fruitcake is ready to be served.
